Tackle Box

Tackle boxes can be big, real big, be sure to make the right choice or else you'll be tripping over your box and losing fish! Since I provide lures you really don't need a large tackle box. A small tackle box for terminal gear such as swivels, clippers, Lake Erie lures you may have used before, etc. The large boxes take up too much room around your feet and can cause you to stumble. Some guys carry their reels in their boxes and put their outfits together on the boat. I suggest putting the equipment together BEFORE you get on the boat.Remember. Consolidate wherever possible. Whatever you think you can't fish without that's in your tackle box,I probably already have it on the boat.

Your Tackle Box and Charter Equipment

Captain Pat and the Irish C fishing charter will provide all the tackle and equipment you need to bring in the fish, but If you have an arsenal that you've been investing in; bring it with you. Remember when sport fishing on Lake Erie you don't need the tackle box with the dresser drawers full of ocean fishing reels, shelves of bobbers, handmade rainbow trout flies from Durango, CO. If your tackle box has a detachable unit, fill it with your preferred gear and store it safely in the cabin. If not, speak with the Captain, he may have the precisely gear you need ready for you.
