What can I bring to eat?
We need food to live. We can't get pizza delivered, and there aren't any Subways or Gas stations in the middle of the lake, there are two ways to get food on the Irish C.
The first way involves filleting your first fish and bringing a fork. While Lake Erie Walleye and Perch are considered some of the best eating on this planet, you probably want to wait until you can bread it, season it, grill, fry or bake it. If that's the case, you will need to pack a lunch.
Captain Pat and the Irish C, have a beverage and food cooler that is big enough to hold small personal items including sandwiches, and a cabin that can store dry goods you may with to snack on during the trip. If you have a large party, or large appetite, you may want to bring a small cooler for your lunches, or keep additional items in a beverage cooler. There is also a fish cooler, but it's reserved.
You can bring anything that will fit within the confines of the coolers on board and fit safely and securly in the ship's cabin. Remember that anything you bring could be rocked, and moved in even the lightest of water conditions. Foods that require heat to taste good are not reccomended, however watching you eat the frozen entre your wife packed on accident with your hands would be very entertaining!
