Marblehead lighthouse is the oldest workable light house on the great lakes and is only 15 minutes from the marina. It's well worth visiting to see a part of great lakes history.
Put-in-bay is actually a town on South Bass Island and not an island itself. It is the most happening place on the great lakes. There are other islands to visit, such as Kelly's Is. , but the Bay is where it's at.
There are 2 banks with atms within 1 block of the marina. A few of the bars and resteraunts have atms also. The Huntington and Key bank are the closest and there are several others a mile away.
